Socratic Irony happens on the most garden-variety days:

"I have photographic memory."

• "Really? You mean eidetic, right?"

"Huh?"

• "Eidetic memory."

"Photographic memory. That's what I have."

• "'Photographic memory' is slang. The official name for it is 'eidetic memory.'"

"Ohhhh. Yeah. Right. I forgot that."
