NaBloPoMo 2021.18 When the anesthesiologist doesn't know who he's dealing with

The operating theater

Bruce had an operation yesterday. Minor thing, but they had to knock him out. The anesthesiologist said, "We are giving you ketoralac. It is a COX-2 inhibitor."

Bruce, on the table, interjects. "I don't think ketoralac is a COX-2 Inhibitor."

The anesthesiologist got all tight lipped and stopped explaining drug mechanisms after that.

I mean Bruce is a doctor who specializes in these kinds of things but still. Not a good way to make friends before surgery.

I'm confident Bruce and I will discuss this incident at length when I see him on Saturday.
