The U-Haul in the Halloween Parade - NaBloPoMo 3

We went over to Wanda and Derek's to spectate the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade.  As usual, we hung out the window and Wanda chucked candy at, or in the vicinity of, children on the sidewalk. 

At one point in the parade, a U-Haul truck motored by, right in the middle of a decked out hoard of skeletons and demons and fairies. Maybe it was carrying their stuff or the speakers for their music or something, but bottomline, it was incongruous. 

Matt said, "Can you imagine what's going on in that truck cab right now? It's two people trying to move into their new apartment... 'I TOLD YOU to take a left on 14th Street!!!'"

It was very funny.

Today, coming out of the Holland Tunnel into New Jersey, some asshat in a U-Haul pulled an insane right hook directly in front of us. Tom laid on the horn and said, "Look! It's those people in the U-Haul from last night."

We crack ourselves up.
